Rémi Bolduc New Jazz Quartet
Canada & United States
After having given, in recent years, more than a hundred concerts, Rémi Bolduc comes to present his new group to us with great pride. There are young musicians of great talent: pianist Marie-Fatima Rudolf, drummer Jim Doxas and bassist Adrian Vedady, an exceptional musician and frequent collaborator of Rémi Bolduc.
The Rémi Bolduc New Jazz Quartet echoes the Random Masters concert, presented for the first time in October 2011. Since then, the ensemble has matured a lot and the artist has enhanced his original compositions with a few jazz standards arranged especially for this program.

Christmas + jazz = a perfect evening!
What people are saying:
“A jazzy Christmas that takes us far beyond the classics. […] Rémi Bolduc confidently navigates within the quartet and offers various solos where Coltrane’s influence can be felt with impressive maturity. […] The group managed to ‘jazz up’ the Christmas songs beautifully and pushed the interpretations further for a successful evening, especially thanks to the richness of Jim Doxas and Ira Coleman’s rhythm section, giving ample space for François Bourassa’s piano and the beautiful musicality of Rémi Bolduc’s saxophone.” — Jérôme Daviau, sors-tu.ca
