I am thrilled to announce that I am embarking on a new musical journey with a fresh project that introduces new instrumentations and collaborations. As always, I’ll be on the alto sax, but I’m excited to be joined by the multi-talented Chantal Devilliers on tenor saxophone and vocals. The lineup also features Ira Coleman on bass, Nick Semenykhin on guitar.

It has been some time since I last collaborated with a guitarist, and I’m finding that it adds a rich new dimension to our sound. The guitar not only works well melodically with the saxophone but also enhances the overall texture, offering a fuller, more resonant sound. Additionally, having Chantal switch between vocals and tenor sax within the same tune adds a textural layer to our performances that is truly inspiring.

This project is leaning towards more groove-oriented music, which has been a refreshing and invigorating challenge. I’m nearly finished composing the first tune and am eager to share this new sound with all of you. This is one of my key projects this summer, and your continued support means the world to me. I look forward to bringing these new compositions to life and sharing them with you soon.
